Hello ACA Community,
Happy Friday ACA! The staff is here at school having a great Professional Development Day. Everyone is sharing and learning new skills and strategies to make the World’s Greatest Staff even Greater!
For those in our community who were able to attend the Oregon Bird Man show yesterday, wasn’t that fun? The gym was packed, the students were so well behaved and engaged, and a good time was had! Many thanks to the PTO for bringing everyone together for this fun event!
More Picture Days
Stephanie Young’s schedule FILLED last week so she is returning for two more school photo days on Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00am - 2:00pm. Sign up for a time on the clipboard by the office. Stephanie will squeeze in walk-up sessions! We hope everyone, staff and students, will stop by for a photo for our Yearbook and a student ID (older students). If you would like to order photos, request a gallery by emailing syoungphoto@gmail.com.
Reunification Drill - The Great ShakeOut
On Thursday, October 16th, ACA will take part in the national earthquake preparedness day, called The Great ShakeOut. We will conduct an earthquake drill at 2 pm, followed by an evacuation to the field. We will then move into a test of our reunification drill by walking to Park Place Church (and the address) and returning to school.' Everyone in the building at that time will need to participate.Volunteer Spotlight

There is a lovely new bulletin board in the cafeteria where families can shop for opportunities to volunteer. Stop by and take a look!

For our students, it’s not OK to ‘cut’ lines, whether the lunch line, or in the four square game.We’re entering the season of sniffles and flus. If any member of your family is not feeling well, please keep them home. Thank you very much!

10/15 Chipotle Dine Out Night: Dinner is taken care of and PTO gets 25% - that's a win / win! 4-8pm, 15717 SE McLoughlin Blvd.
Boo-Grams are on sale! Now through 10/30. Purchase and fill them out at the PTO desk, and we will deliver them with some treats the week of 10/27-10/30.
10/27 Pie Fundraiser Begins! Look for order forms at the PTO desk. They will be available for both Thanksgiving, and another time over the holiday break. These are delicious pies made by Willamette Valley Pie Company.
10/30 Trunk or Treat 3:30-5:30. Join us for the 5th annual beloved ACA event! Please view the signup here, and join the fun! In conjunction with Spooky Science and Mad Math in the gym.
